Context: Carnival Cruise Line operates under strict international maritime regulations and internal Environmental Control System (ECS) procedures (ENV-1204). The company needed a reliable, verifiable method to secure and monitor mission-critical valves and cross-connections within the engine and machinery spaces—particularly those related to bilge, grey water, black water treatment, and oil-to-sea interfaces.
