Green Link SAS, operating a fleet of small trucks in logistics across Colombia, faced significant operational hurdles due to the country’s diverse terrain and the need to secure goods in transit. The company required a robust telematics system that went beyond simple location tracking.
The goals were to ensure route adherence, monitor vehicle health, and establish immediate reaction capabilities against theft or unauthorized usage, all without disrupting daily logistics flow.

2. The Truway Solution (What We Did)

Truway deployed a tailored telematics solution for Green Link’s fleet, leveraging a white-label partnership with a leading global GPS platform and prioritizing asset security and real-time control.

Specialized Tracking & Control: Versatile tracking units were implemented, connecting directly to the vehicles' onboard diagnostics (OBDII) and ignition systems to monitor engine status and vehicle health.

Remote Motor Control: To mitigate theft, the system provided fleet managers with the ability to remotely cut off the ignition in case of unauthorized movement, effectively immobilizing the vehicle.

Automated Security Alerts: The system was configured to provide instant alerts for Towing & Collision Detection. Additionally, Geofencing established virtual perimeters to notify managers immediately if a truck deviated from its assigned route or entered a high-risk area.

Future-Ready Architecture: The platform was designed for scalability and is compatible with Truway's Camera Service, enabling Green Link SAS to easily integrate constant video monitoring and real-time recording as their security needs increase.
